We spent the first half of January ill. And when I say ill, I mean really ill. Although we never got tested I'm pretty sure we had the flu. Nate stayed home from work for a whole week. We've never been so sick. all of us. at the same time. seriously so bad. Pretty sure I would have died without the use of tylenol and ibuprofen. Seriously. I still feel ill just thinking about it. So miserable. It might not have been so bad if it hadn't been everybody. When I'm sick, I like putting on a hoodie that's 3 sizes too big for me and just laying on the couch watching downton abbey for 5 days straight. I'm not gonna lie. I loved that part about it. But because I was wearing a certain somebody's only hoodie, he resorted to other methods of warmness.
Haha. Poor guy. We all felt so miserable. That's the throw for our couch.
In the midst of all our sickness, we were feeling better but still not allowed to go out in public. So we gave this dude a hair cut.
His first suit coat. I can't wait til he grows into it. Love it!
Happy Birthday to me! We went to ikea. lame I know. but I really wanted to do something for me. And what's not better than shopping. And then we went out that weekend sans kids. We had a really great time just us. One of my more mellow birthdays. But definitely one of the best to date.
Later in January we went to the aquarium for the first time. We got 4 of us in for the price of 1! It was amazing!!! We had so much fun.
