Ceremony shmeremony, Carlsbad, Dam tour, Splash pad

 We had fun this year going to massive awards ceremonies where no one and everyone gets an award.

 Most of these carlsbad pictures are for your viewing pleasure. I probably wouldn't have included this one except that it is totally a cute shot of all 3 of my kids.

 It felt really quite bright in there with all the electricity they have in there but it was actually really hard to get a good picture.

 It's about 57 degrees in there... year round. never changes.

 Really really beautiful though.

 My girls. probably one of the worst pictures of me ever. but I love them both so much I'll sacrifice myself for its cause.

 While we were waiting to go back upstairs Nate had himself a little picture shoot. I've made a vow from this time forward to make sure that I never shy away from getting my picture taken. No matter how awful I think I look.

 Total side shot. 7 months pregnant. I still can't believe how big my belly gets. At least I was still all belly for the most part.

 The outside of carlsbad caverns was a stark contrast to the way it was outside. Really bright and Really hot and Really ugly. Just saying.

 The next day we went to Glen Canyon Dam. I think it creates one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. I want to go there someday with my family.

 It's amazing the kind of things they had to do to even get permission to build this bridge.

 We had a lot of fun taking the dam tour. with the dam tour guide. bwa haha. Evie liked it too. :)

 If I could go back to this day I totally would. I still miss Evie so much and wish I could bring her back again.

 Some day Nate and I plan to rent one of those rafts and take it down the canyon. We think it sounds like an experience of a lifetime.

 Jeff was really scared to be on this bridge. What was most scary was that the bridge would shake anytime a car would go across it. Lucky for us, I think it was supposed to shake.

 We finally arrived in st. George!
Jeff discovered that Grandpa and Grandma might be even more sports obsessed than he is. Or at least his uncles were. He wore this helmet out in the 100 degree heat for a solid hour. He was in h.e.a.v.e.n.  #itsalwaysfunatgrandmashouse #astrosfan #cloud9  #sweaty

 We had lots of fun things planned and first on our list was visiting the well beloved splash pad in downtown St. George.

 Jeff is such a fun person. I love him so much.

 Their cousins came down and they played and played and played. Chelsea's kids were a little more cautious and a little younger but it was fun seeing my kids rope them into doing more stuff.

 Such a pretty young lady.

 And my man with the dreamy eyes.

 Pretty sure Evie was no longer with us in this picture, but I'm grateful that I look so happy and beautiful with this man that is totally my love and my support. He is everything I dreamed of in a spouse and more. He surpasses my greatest expectations and accepts all the non-desirable things that I emit. I couldn't have made it through the 48 hours following this picture without him. God led me to him.
