Aria wanted a unicorn party!! I saw this cute cake on pinterest and did my best to recreate it. I think it looks pretty good. :)
We painted shirts for the craft and they got to take their shirts home for their goody bag. The girls loved this and Aria wears hers often.
She's made quite a few good friends at school and picked up quite the loot this year.
We may have experienced what the berenstein bears call too much birthday, but all in all, I think she's very happy to be 6.
We've been utilizing our closeness to all of the excitement and adventure that downtown has to offer. We have been loving in particular discovery green. We go there every Tuesday and Saturday to do some yoga. One Saturday they were having a low energy car race.
They had racecars on display and Jeff was in h.e.a.v.e.n. Just look at that smile! Thank you shell. :)
For date-night co-op we have become the children's yoga gurus. They love it.
We have really loved going to Toddler Tuesday story times. Jeff has been my little buddy this year. I love him so much I just can't get enough of him. He is an amazing little boy, full of character and stubbornness and cuteness. He won 2nd place in the boy category for the costume contest. Can you guess what he is?
Towards the end of the spring it got kind of warm, (notice the sweat.)
But we absolutely loved going the time they had the architects of air exhibit. Pretty amazing effects on the skin.
So cool to be pink.:)
This was Jeff's favorite room. We called it the tree room. So cool to be a part of art.
My bud. I just love him. :)
Nate got the opportunity to go to San Antonio to visit with some of his co-residents. The air force base was pretty amazing there and the dental facilities were even better.
I think his views were a little better...
but I got the cool Mom award for taking my kids to McDonald's. Happiness is so easy sometimes.
and for playing at the park for hours on end. p.s. she's got amazing core. and p.p.s. I know Jeff's pants are on backwards. He's just expressing himself. :)
We had a huge hail storm. I seriously feared for our lives. So strange. Ironically Nate and I had planned on going to the temple that night.
This is under our porch.
And right outside our front window.
Nate did a lot of reading. and so did Aria.
Eating at Olive Garden.
We love the center for contemporary craft.
and Jeff does a lot of watching for Daddy to come.
Regardless of what I say. Daddy's really the cool one. I'm just okay for the interim. I sure love these kiddos.
