That's what we like to do around here. I don't know if y'all know this about me. I love parties. I love going to them. I love throwing them. The biggest down-side to our house, is that it's not an excellent entertaining house. (We still attempt it's just not as comfortable.) However, for my birthday we wanted to have people over because that's what makes me happy. I made this lovely cake. Thanks pinterest for an easy way to make things pretty. (But I made myself a key lime pie.) I know I probably shouldn't be cooking for myself on my birthday, but I like what I make better... haha.
This is our good friend Shan. Her and her husband got baptized in December and we consider them dear friends of ours. We our so glad that we have had the chance to get to know them better. They are darling together.
And because my birthday was on a Sunday I got to celebrate ALL weekend! It rocked to get waited on so much.
On Sunday, we got to play games all afternoon my favorite. First we played a new one that we got for Christmas called Quirkle. Aria can play it and it's really fun. Then Nate thought it would be fun to take pictures instead of playing games. I need to teach him how to focus though... ugh. I prefer these kind of pictures.

And then we got to play my favorite - Clue. Seriously love that game. You just call anytime you're playing because I'm the only one in this house that really loves it. Any clue fanatics out there like me?
To top it off Nate went with me to our first marriage class. No we're not struggling, but if you keep working on it then you'll never be struggling and so far we've actually learned quite a few things. I'm extremely happy we took it.
