Grandma and Grandpa Pettit: part 2

On Monday we went up to Red Rock Canyon again, but this time we took Grandma and Grandpa! I think Aria enjoyed this hike quite a bit more. We actually let her get out and walk around. So technically, this was her first hike! Aria loves to sweat, Grandma hates it! Luckily Aria has little legs, so we made do, the best we could. Again! The most wonderful thing. Everything is still in bloom! We loved these purple flowers. Both Grandma and Grandpa could identify many of the flowers and plants along the way. We think they really enjoyed it. By the time they left she was saying Grandpa (pampa)! and Grandma (Maaama!) and instantly breaking into patty-cake whenever she saw Grandpa. If only now, we can get her addicted to chocolate. She'd definitely have a connection with Grandma!

So much fun! I forget that many places are actually in full swing of spring and already anticipating summer. We need to get out and do some stuff in the great outdoors. Aria's walking! And talking! It's hard to believe she's only 4 days older than Nathan.
